Hearing changes are a journey. We'll walk it with you.

Whether you've just started to notice something, or your hearing aids aren't doing what they used to, start wherever you are. No pressure, no sales pitch, just good information and a team who listens.

Where are you right now?

On average, that's how long people wait between noticing a hearing change and doing something about it.

You're not alone, and you don't have to wait. Every step below is optional, and every step is welcome.

Your hearing journey

Five stages. Start at any one.

We call it "hearing differences" where we can, because changing hearing is a normal part of life, not a failure. Here's what each stage looks like and how we can help.

1

Awareness

"I think something has changed."

Hearing usually changes slowly, so the people around you often notice first. Some common signs:

  • Asking people to repeat themselves
  • Turning the TV up higher than others like
  • Feeling worn out after busy restaurants or family dinners
  • Family or friends mentioning it
Signs your hearing may be changing

Check from home

"I'd like to check, but in my own time."

You can get a first read on your hearing without leaving the couch. It isn't a diagnosis, but it's a great conversation starter.

Compatible AirPods Pro include a built-in hearing test on iPhone. Here's how to run it and what your results mean.

Information

"I want to understand what's going on."

This is a good time to come in and meet us. You may not want to do anything yet, and that's okay. Our job at this stage is to:

  • Check your ear health and make sure everything is medically okay
  • Refer you on for medical care if we spot any red flags
  • Explain your results in plain English, with family welcome in the room

Next steps

"I think I'm ready. What now?"

We build a plan around your life, not a product catalogue. That might include hearing aids, assistive listening devices or communication strategies, chosen together with you and the people who matter to you.

Beyond hearing aids

"My hearing aids aren't enough anymore."

When conventional hearing aids can no longer give you access to clear speech, implantable hearing technology may be the next step. We guide you through assessment, the decision and life afterwards.
